Man, can you imagine the uproar if a white Christian, or black Christian for that matter, newspaper or website ran that headline?

Maybe that headline should read
'Kinky, Phony WMD's Perpetrator, Bush-Crony, Jew heads Libby defense fund'.
If I was 'JewishNews.com' I might not want to go around telling everyone that Mel is a "Jew". Although it certainly seems like he and Scooter are two peas in a pod.
"A prominent Jewish Republican is leading a fundraising drive for Lewis 'Scooter' Libby's legal defense.
Mel Sembler, a board member of the Republican Jewish Coalition and the U.S. ambassador to Italy from 2001-2005, is spearheading the Libby Legal Defense Trust. Sembler, a Florida shopping-mall magnate, describes Libby, the former chief adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney, as "one of the unsung heroes in fighting the war on terror" and the made-up one in Iraq, on the trust's website
Libby, who is Jewish, (or a "Jew") resigned in October after his indictment on perjury charges related to his leaking the name of a CIA operative whose husband criticized the Iraq war".
