SENATE DEMOCRATS FINALLY GROW SOME TESTICLES

Bush's attempt to distract attention away from his treasonous act of outing Valerie Plame was shattered yesterday when Senate Democrats, in a brillant display of politics, shut the Senate down and demanded Republicans investigate the administration's falsification of the intelligence in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq. After Republicans on the Senate Intelligence Committee, led by Pat Roberts, lied, stalled, ran interference and reneged on following through on their investigation into the lies told by this administration, Harry Reid and Senate Democrats kicked their spineless asses by invoking 'Rule 21' and the American people will finally get a chance to learn the truth! Brillant move, and about fucking time! "The Libby indictment provides a window into what this is really all about, how this administration manufactured and manipulated intelligence in order to sell the war in Iraq and attempted to destroy those who dared to challenge its actions," Reid said before making the motion which sent the Senate into a closed-door session. Democratic Whip Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., told reporters, “tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the last election, Sen. Roberts said he could not initiate Phase II because of the last election, another year has passed, there is no deadline…. The American people are entitled to this information."
