5 marines were also killed fighting insurgents "An American UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter went down in northern Iraq late Saturday, killing all 12 aboard, and 5 marines were killed in fighting with insurgents throughout central Iraq over the weekend, the military reported today. The helicopter, carrying eight passengers and four crew members, went down in a sparsely populated region about seven miles east of Tal Afar just before midnight, the military said. Officials said the dead were probably all Americans, but they did not say whether any were civilians. "All I can say at this time is that they are all believed to be U.S. citizens," a military spokesman, Lt. Col. Barry Johnson, said".While the Iraqi security forces practice parade marching and refuse to 'stand on their own', Americans keep dying for Bush's lies. It's way past time for not only the troops to come home but for the Iraqis to fight for their own freedom. But, why should they fight for their own freedom when we have an administration that has no problem with sacrificing our young men and women for such a needless cause?
