Four U.S. Marines Die in Western Iraq
Two bombs exploded minutes apart Tuesday near a central Baghdad square, killing at least seven people and wounding 20 as violence increased ahead of a major Shiite holy day later this week.
Also Tuesday, the U.S. military said four Marines died in separate explosions in western Iraq and masked gunmen killed a Sunni Arab cleric who headed the city council in the western city of Fallujah.
