Eight Americans were killed on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. How many of you read in your newspaper or heard a single word on TV about these deaths? That's so typical of the 'support our troops' really get. It's a goddamn national disgrace! Moreno was assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, Port Hueneme, Calif. 10/19/05 Reuters: Three Iraqi policemen killed in Baghdad Three Iraqi police were killed and two injured when their patrol was ambushed in the Al-Adil district of western Baghdad, the interior ministry said. 10/19/05 AP: Insurgents Kill 19 In New Iraq Violence Militants barged into a building materials factory near Iskandariyah lined up all the workers and forced the six Shiite ones to identify themselves. The militants then tied up the hands of Shiites, shot them to death in front of the other workers. 10/19/05 Focus: Baghdad Mayor Killed The mayor of Baghdad Hatem Mirza Hamza and his driver were killed Wednesday in al-Durra neighborhood of Baghdad, Interfax reported citing a statement of the Iraqi Interior Ministry. His death occurred on the same day Iraqis were voting on a landmark referendum on a new constitution. 10/19/05 Lawrence Journal-World: Soldier from Tonganoxie killed in Iraq Lucas Frantz, a 2002 Tonganoxie High School graduate, died this week while serving in the Middle East. Frantz was 22. He was a specialist in the Army.
