Miers withdraws Supreme Court nomination

George the Wimp accepts Miers' withdrawal. I don't want to hear any more whining from Republicans in this country about the president's nominees 'deserving an up or down vote'! Bush caves.

On August 15, 1935, Wiley Post, the first pilot to fly solo around the world, and American humorist Will Rogers were killed when Post's plane crashed on takeoff from a lagoon near Point Barrow, in Alaska.
