My theory will work-And they know it

As Ken Mehlman, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, flew to Memphis to attend the first gathering of potential GOP presidential candidates for 2008, a NEWSWEEK reporter asked him if he had anything to say about the South Dakota law. "No," he said. Did he plan to make a statement on that topic at the Republican gathering in Memphis? "No" was the answer. Would he ever be willing to comment on the topic, other than to say that it's up to the states to make their own choices on abortion? Again, the answer was "no." The look on his face was more expressive. It appeared to ask, "Are you kidding?"
As I have said many times, the best thing that could happen to Democrats as far as the right to an abortion or in getting rid of Republican rule would be to have Roe v. Wade overturned. And, guess what? There are many Republicans in leadership positions who are scared to death that states like South Dakota and Mississippi are doing what I have said would be good for Democrats; banning a woman's choice to have an abortion. As this article clearly states, 2 out of 3 Americans are against overturning Roe v. Wade and when it starts happening Republicans will be swept from power. Let's see, they would have South Dakota, Mississippi, Utah, Kansas, Alabama, and maybe 3-5 other states that a lot of people wouldn't raise their dog in, so bring it on fools! Overturn it and hurry up and do it! The pea-brain simpletons (like the guy above) will become insignificant like they should be. I look forward to it. And the country sure could use it!
